The Hindu religion teaches that when someone dies, the soul passes into another body.

That belief in reincarnation provides the foundation for Hindu funeral traditions. Although different groups have slightly different practices, there is a common set of Hindu funeral rites they all follow.

It is believed that after death, the soul of the dead person hangs around for 13 days unable to sever the relationships this BODY, which it was associated with, on the 13 day it has to leave detaching itself from its family .

We can put you in touch with a Hindu priest too who will be able to conduct the Puja and perform the Hindu mantras on the day of the funeral and for the after rituals.
